Type of Breast Implants

Before
During a consultation with us, we will give you a list of things to avoid before your surgery, such as aspirin and smoking cigarettes. Since this is an invasive surgical procedure, you will need to arrange for someone to drive you home from the hospital. They may also need to stay with you for a day or two to assist with some tasks that may be difficult to do.
After
Breast augmentation surgery is achieved under a general anesthetic. Patients can be relatively mobile within a few hours of the surgery since it is performed on an outpatient basis. It is important to avoid certain strenuous activities, like exercise, or activities that will raise your blood pressure for at least two weeks after your breast augmentation surgery. We will prescribe pain medication before the day of the procedure so you can have them ready. There will be follow-up treatments, but we will provide dates for those in advance.
